A 'JAMES POWELL (Whitefriars)' window dedicated to the memory of WILLIAM FRANCIS JOHN WOOD. A man beloved by his friends and honoured for his work in the glass industry.
The original window was ordered from James Powell and Sons on 26th April 1937 and was designed by James H, Hogan.
The factory order book page 308 shows ' Portrait with factory glassblower and laboratory technician £120.00 fixed. '
